Kuala Lumpur, 16 May 2026 – The recent Enliven Women Retreat concluded with a powerful message of inclusion, healing, and collective empowerment, bringing together women from diverse backgrounds for a transformative experience centered on personal growth, resilience, and meaningful connection.
More than just a wellness retreat, Enliven Women Retreat was created as a safe and intentional space for women to reconnect with themselves, build authentic community, and learn from inspiring female leaders across industries. The retreat featured heartfelt conversations, mindfulness sessions, leadership insights, and transformative breakthrough experiences designed to uplift women emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

In a significant initiative toward inclusivity and social impact, Enliven Women Retreat also welcomed and fully sponsored 22 women from Malaysia’s B40 community, made possible through the generosity of its corporate partners and sponsors including Mitraland, Sunway Pyramid, Focus Point Caring Hearts Charity Foundation, Fitline Malaysia, and King’s Park Development. The sponsored participants included single mothers, caregivers, women navigating financial hardship, and women seeking renewed hope and opportunities for personal growth.
“Our vision for Enliven was never to create a space only accessible to a privileged few,” said Caleen Chua, founder of Yoga for Mums and Enliven Women. “True empowerment happens when women from different walks of life come together, share stories, and remind one another that every woman deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported.”

Program Highlights Included:
● A curated transformation workshop led by founder and mindfulness coach Caleen Chua, focused on inner healing, self-awareness, and personal breakthrough.
● A powerhouse leadership panel featuring Penny Choo, co-founder of BloomThis, alongside Yuen Leng, CFO of Zurich Malaysia, sharing candid insights on leadership, motherhood, resilience, and redefining success.
● An intimate fireside chat with Malaysian squash legend and world champion Datuk Nicol David, who spoke about mental resilience, purpose beyond achievements, and navigating identity beyond the world stage.

Caleen is no novice when it comes to journeying with women after launching her Mind and Body Transformation program during the pandemic. Her online program has impacted over 500 women in 4 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. She was first inspired to start this program after hearing a lot of negative stories about women’s postpartum experiences and how many mothers struggle to regain their sense of self-love and self confidence. Through her 9 week Mind and Body Transformation Program, they learn mindfulness techniques to resolve their negative emotions, build a positive outlook of life as well as becoming a healthier and fitter version of themselves. She pays special attention to mothers as she feels that mothers give so much for others but mostly experience neglect themselves.
Corporate sponsors and brand partners played a vital role in making the initiative possible, contributing not only financial support but also reinforcing a shared commitment toward community upliftment and women’s empowerment in Malaysia. The B40 women were represented by the Nicol David Organisation and Women of Will, and facilitated by the trained counselors and psychologists of social enterprise Thrive Well.

Participants described the retreat as deeply moving and transformational, with many sharing that the experience gave them renewed confidence, clarity, and a sense of belonging.
As conversations around women’s wellbeing and mental health continue to grow globally, Enliven Women Retreat hopes to pave the way for more inclusive spaces where women are empowered not just to succeed externally, but to thrive holistically.
Enliven Women Retreat plans to continue expanding its community impact initiatives in future editions, with the goal of making transformational experiences more accessible to women across different socioeconomic backgrounds.
