DEALER EXCELLENCE UNDERSCORES JAECOO’S COMMITMENT TO MALAYSIAN MARKET
JAECOO Achieves 7,041 J7 Vehicle Registrations Within First Five Months of Operations
2024 was another record-breaking year for Malaysia’s automotive industry withnew market entrants and multiple vehicle launches, leading The MalaysianAutomotive Association (MAA) to raise its 2024 total industry volume (TIV) forecast to800,000 new vehicle sales. It was also a breakout year for premium SUV marketchallenger, JAECOO, whose investments in an extensive dealer network, warehouseand production assets, collectively contributed to the achievement of 7,041 JAECOOJ7 SUV registrations in the first five months of retailing in Malaysia.
In appreciation of the network’s accomplishment, JAECOO recognised 12 topperforming dealerships at its first-ever dealership awards. JAECOO Malaysia VicePresident, Emily Lek, said, “We appreciate our customers for their faith in theJAECOO brand and we will remain dedicated to deliver on our brand promise withbest-in-class vehicles and a premium ownership experience. The awards recogniseour dealer network which play a vital role in the brand’s overall achievement. We willcontinue to expand our dealer network, in line with our ambition to provide theabsolute best customer experience.
”The awardees recognised comprised of dealerships from the Klang Valley,northern and southern region, with the latter topping the table with the best sales inthe country. Identifying opportunities for growth, JAECOO will be expanding itsevaluation to include Best Customer Service Index (CSI) and Sales SatisfactionIndex (SSI) scores among others in the coming year.
Johor-based JAECOO dealership, Auto Galaksi Sdn Bhd, took home the trophyfor contributing the highest sales in the network. "We are deeply honoured to be theinaugural recipient of JAECOO’s ‘Dealer of the Year’ award. This achievementreflects the unwavering trust and support of our valued customers and businesspartners. ollowing the success of the J7 and C9 in 2024, JAECOO Malaysia is looking toraise the bar in 2025 with plans to introduce more models in line with its mission toprovide attainable luxury options in the automotive market, beginning with the J7PHEV in February 2025. JAECOO will be priming the way ahead of the launch with along-range drive this month which will showcase the JAECOO J7 PHEV journeyingacross three nations, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, on a single tank andcharge.
