Petaling Jaya (7 July 2025)<\/strong> – This year, OFFLINE 16 is back, bigger, better, and more impactful than ever! First launched in 2024, the inaugural event was a smashing success, garnering over 300 participants, championing both mental and physical wellness. Spearheaded by the Australian-owned supplement brand VitaHealth Malaysia (\u201cVitaHealth\u201d) and community builder and master planner Tropicana Corporation Berhad (\u201cTropicana\u201d or \u201cGroup\u201d), OFFLINE 16 encourages participants to disconnect from digital devices and reconnect with the world around them. Building on this momentum and in alignment with both companies\u2019 ESG commitments, this year\u2019s movement aims to engage over 1,200 participants nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike last year\u2019s record-breaking 16-hour single event, OFFLINE 16 has evolved into a series of themed gatherings, each one designed to be more accessible, while spotlighting different facets of mindfulness and wellness. The journey began in May 2025 with the Pickleball Challenge in Penang attracting 200 participants. It was followed by a Nature\u2019s Retreat at FRIM, Kepong and a Beach Cleanup in Sabah, together attracting 300 participants just last month. The movement will culminate in its largest edition yet at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (\u201cTGCR\u201d) on 16 August 2025<\/strong>, with a final rest-and-recharge resort retreat in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the event, Dr KS Beh, Chief Executive Officer of VitaHealth (Malaysia & Singapore) and founder of OFFLINE 16, shared, \u201cThe idea to go offline came to me when I noticed how screen time was taking over people\u2019s lives, leaving them disconnected and mentally drained.\u201d That sparked the birth of OFFLINE 16, a movement inviting people to unplug, and reconnect meaningfully, while building a happier community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, it has clocked 30 offline hours across five editions, engaging more than 900 participants. \u201cAt VitaHealth, we live by our slogan \u2018Healthy Life, Happy Vibes\u2019<\/em>. NEXT STOP: THE BIG FINALE AT TROPICANA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us at the flagship event at TGCR! Following the success of OFFLINE 16: Nature\u2019s Retreat and the enthusiastic turnout in Penang, anticipation is mounting for the next phase of the OFFLINE 16 series. The upcoming grand finale on 16 August 2025 at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (\u201cTGCR\u201d) promises to be the most immersive experience yet, featuring a range of engaging activities\u2014from a pickleball session with VitaHealth ambassadors, Olympian Pearly Tan and Malaysia\u2019s top pickleball player Colin Wong, to interactive games, a dedicated rest-and-relaxation corner, and a scenic sunset walk to end the day on a serene note.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand finale will bring together a vibrant line-up of wellness-focused activities aimed at helping participants unplug, recharge, and reconnect. The event will feature open-play pickleball challenges at the brand new pickleball courts at TGCR, a sunset walk, live jazz music, a recycling workshop, health screenings, DIY arts and crafts, mental wellness games, and a relaxation zone complete with reading nooks and massage chairs. Participants will also receive exclusive goodies worth over RM300, and stand a chance to win RM15,000 worth of lucky draw prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meaningful event will be brought to life with the support of retail partners BIG Pharmacy and Caring Pharmacy, along with official pickleball equipment partner Facolos.
